DESIGN & PHILOSOPHY

A playful resin practice turning flowing colours, translucent layers, and natural materials into one-of-a-kind sculptural tables.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Uminora resin work
  1. 01

    Organic Forms

Inspired by natural contours, we combine solid wood, resin, and flowing lines while preserving the raw and distinctive character of each material.

  2. 02

    Flowing Colour

Through gradients, colour blending, and multiple layers of pouring, the resin flows and merges naturally, creating colours and textures that are difficult to replicate.

  3. 03

    Natural Inlays

Natural stone, crystal, ceramic fragments, and botanical elements are embedded in resin to add depth, texture, and refined visual detail.

  4. 04

    Material Fusion

We explore combinations of resin with wood, metal, ceramic, and stone, creating new structural and visual possibilities.

  5. 05

    Cultural Expression

Eastern culture, natural landscapes, and traditional craftsmanship are incorporated into contemporary design, giving each piece a distinctive cultural character.

DESIGN THINKING &
CHICKEN SCRATCHES

Uminora studio process

As an experience designer, it's intuitive to start my creative process with research. Iterative processes are familiar grounds, I test and experiment like my life depends on it.

Sketches are how I visualise ideas, and pivoting along the way is a natural part of my crafting process.
