OUR PROCESS
Handcrafted and built to last
Every Uminora product goes through four precise stages before leaving our studio.
01
Material Sourcing & Moisture Control
We conduct on-site visits to timber suppliers and processing facilities in Nanping, Fujian, selecting wood based on grain, density, and stability. Before production, each piece undergoes MC moisture-content testing, typically controlled at 8%–12% for indoor furniture, followed by drying, dust removal, and pore sealing to reduce the risk of cracking and resin bubbling.

- MC 8%–12%
02
CNC Machining & Mold Preparation
According to the design drawings, we complete CNC machining, trimming, and hand finishing of wood and embedded materials. Before casting, we conduct mold pre-assembly, level calibration, and sealing tests, and perform P80 surface treatment on bonding areas to enhance the mechanical bonding between resin and substrate.
- CNC Machining
- P80 Surface Prep
03
Resin Ratio & Layered Casting
Resin and hardener are precisely weighed according to the corresponding TDS specifications, with the working environment controlled at approximately 20–25°C. Depending on the thickness of each piece, we apply layered casting and de-airing treatment while managing the exothermic reaction during curing to improve clarity and overall stability.
- TDS-Guided Mixing
- 20–25°C Casting
04
Curing, Sanding & Final Polishing
According to the resin system, we control the cure schedule to ensure complete curing. After full curing, we proceed with coarse grinding, fine grinding, wet sanding, and polishing in sequence. Thick-pour table pieces are typically reserved about 7–14 days to reach full cure before final finishing and quality inspection.
- 7–14 Day Curing
- Multi-Stage Polishing
